About

Artist Statement

I hold both a BA and MA in Fine Art, most recently graduating from Camberwell College of Arts. My practice spans drawing, print, sculpture, painting, video and 3D animation, exploring contemporary ideas of space and place informed by thinkers such as Marc Augé, Doreen Massey and Martin Heidegger. Strongly process-led, I use repetitive printing and drawing methods, treating screen-printing and linocuts as hand-made algorithms. This approach, reinforced through materials such as metal, plaster, rubber and textiles, draws on the language of industrial production.

In previous works, I have developed adaptive, site-specific installations that create new dialogues between forms, textures and spaces. Printed fabrics are contrasted with rigid structures to form soft, borderless assemblies, while video and animation undo fixed parameters of physical place. These morphing forms, often referencing both landscape and the human body, create spaces that feel familiar yet disorienting. In the digital age, where scale and materiality become unstable, I question how our bodies and minds will navigate such altered environments.

My most recent projects deepen this inquiry through moving image and digital media, prompting reflection on my relationship with the natural landscape and the cinematic image. I see each new context as an opportunity to renew this experimentation and research.

Alongside my practice, I have experience leading workshops and crits. My early sessions, such as a drawing workshop ‘From Film,’ offered a dynamic alternative to traditional site or life drawing, fostering skills in composition and visual thinking. I now aim to develop walking workshops where participants materialise ideas through sketching, reflecting on memory and formalising these insights into finished artworks.

Exhibitions include selection for London Grads Now 21’ at the Saatchi Gallery and a series of smaller shows co-curated as a member of Regroup Collective. These experiences have sharpened my ability to curate and present artwork effectively while building collaborative approaches to research and practice.
